Interactive Design and Production Management

• Creative & functional design documentation are our specialty: following satisfied clients, including Microsoft Games and Electronic Arts, we offer to design and write full design documents that flesh out your initial idea into a fully realizable software project design. This includes design for such elements as functionality, interactions, story, user experience and game play.
• Production design: We offer assistance with budget planning, team size and skill requirements, development scheduling, milestones and deliverables definitions, 3rd-party licensing, and estimating potential threats and devising plans to minimize these. Planning your full production well is often the key to a successful software production process.
• Project management and communication is one of our core services. Whether this is to run a full production team on a full project that you have hired ByDesign Games to execute, or to assist with running your own project and team, we believe that attentive project management is very important.

Engineering and Programming

With an experienced and talented professional programmers, engineers and software architects, ByDesign Games offer top quality engineering services within all technical aspects of Unity programming. We can build an application for you from scratch, or we can assist with analyzing and improving your existing code-base.

Examples of engineering services:

• Analysis of your Unity project code, and subsequent advice on how to improve the code. We also offer to optimize and perform error correction of your Unity project code.
• Technical design and technology plans: Mapping out the optimal technical approach to building your project, based on your requirements for the end product.

3D Graphics and Visual Design

ByDesign Games has a small department of graphic artists, with several years of industry experience, and deep knowledge of the implications and pitfalls of producing real-time graphics. We offer services related to technical aspects of Unity graphics, as well as creative and design services. We can shape, design and create your visual world from scratch, or we can assist your graphics team with producing optimized and functional graphics for Unity productions.

Examples of graphics services:

• Analysis of project graphics: We offer to review your existing graphics and/or Unity scenes, and dissect each element to evaluate possible flaws, or areas where optimization is possible. We also offer to perform the necessary optimizations and/or visual enhancements.
• Visual design: We offer to illustrate what your software application might look like prior to starting production. This includes designs of interactive screens, 3D scenes, game characters, and world design. Our visual concepts are designed with Unity production in mind.
• We produce the 3D models, textures, animations, gui elements, and special effects for Unity productions. We also offer world building and level design.
• Optimizing graphics for real-time usage is our speciality; any artist can create a detailed, high-poly-count model, but the asset isn’t going to perform well at 60 frames per second. We were making realtime 3D interactive content since before consumer grade 3D acceleration was available; leverage our extensive experience on your next project.
